Who cares?

When I'm lonely ... Scared ... Depressed...  Who cares?
When sickness comes in ... or trouble... or someone dies... who cares then?

Two sisters stood crying at their brother's grave.
(It was a cave cut in the rock, with a big stone rolled across the front for a door)."If only you had been here, our brother would not have died..." they said to Jesus. He stood there and cried together with them.

Then he said "Roll away the stone!" They were scared... there didn't want to look at death. But they did what He said.
He prayed, called to the dead man,"Come Out!" Death's darkness was shattered, as God's love and power flooded into the grave.
The dead man came out... alive, and completely well.
(Read about it in the Gospel of John, chapter eleven).
Sin is like a grave, a prison, with the devil as the jail-keeper.
Because we have all sinned ( gone our own way, and done our own thing) we live in darkness, loneliness, and fear.

But God's Son Jesus went down into death's darkness for us, when He died on the cross to take the punishment for all our sins.
He did not give up because of the pain, but prayed "Father, forgive them!"
He prayed for every one of us - not just for those who drove the nails through His hands and feet.
When He rose again - the darkness was gone, the sins forgiver, the peace of God given, for every person who will put all of their trust in Him. Will you do it?
Will you "roll away the stone " of anger, hate, stubbornness, pride, and love of your own way... and ask Him to forgive you, and come inside you, and take control of your heart and your life? He says "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in."
(Revelation 3: 20 - The Bible).

Who Cares? He does!
Enough to have died to save you from your sins, and from hell. So give in to Him ... pray to Him... ask Him to forgive you, and to save you now.
